recruitment businesses in the UK are set to benefit with the launch
of a new "Smart Client" application from Invenias, powered by
Microsoft Office 
Outlook and
delivered on Cobweb Service platform.
Established in 2005 by executive
search and recruitment professionals, Invenias is a privately owned
UK software company that focuses on developing simple and effective
software solutions for executive search and specialist recruitment
companies.
Invenias' aim is to design and build
powerful applications that are simple to use and allow users to
stay within their favourite and familiar applications such as
Microsoft Outlook – thereby increasing the user's confidence and
productivity.
Richard Harrison, CEO of Invenias,

with two core groups of information, typically held in different
systems. The first, email, appointments and tasks, is usually
held and managed within Microsoft Outlook, the second, complex
information about companies, people and assignments, is usually
managed within a separate recruitment application."
To date Recruitment applications have
typically only offered limited integration with Outlook, requiring
users to alternate between different applications, resulting in
lack of continuity and reduced productivity.
Invenias delivers a powerful search
and recruitment application within Outlook enabling users to manage
all of their information and daily tasks without leaving the
familiar environment of Outlook.
The Invenias application is a "Smart
Client" application that combines all the benefits of a managed IT
service with the superior performance and availability of local
data.

The .NET Web Services and back-end SQL Server requirements for
the Invenias application are provided from Cobweb's fully managed
