Exporting PST files in Outlook 2003 / 2007

1. Open the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Import and Export

2. Select ‘Export to a file’ and click ‘Next’.

3. Select ‘Personal Folder File (.pst)’ and click ‘Next’.

4. Select the top level (Mailbox - “Your Name”) folder and select ‘Include subfolders’ then click ‘Next’.

5. Click ‘Browse’ and select a location to save the .pst file to (for simplicity save the file to the desktop). Then select ‘Replace duplicates with items exported’ and click ‘Finish’.

6. Then select ‘No Encryption’ and click ‘OK’.

The data in the mailbox will now be exported to the .pst file and saved in the specified location.
